The power-source of your business is that incredibly complex bundle of needs, passions, desires, ideals and values that we call the human being. Your openness to the other's unmanageable humanity generates trust. And it's only in an atmosphere of mutual trust that an authentic "sale" can occur. In fact, the word "selling" should be replaced by "energy exchange" -- an amazing event in which wealth-energy is released in exchange for forms of value. If the exchange is honest, then both parties have been genuinely benefited. Selling is the extraordinary event of creating mutual benefit -- an unmistakable "win/win" situation.
